Roster planning
RosterSolver brings staff availability, FTE, shift coverage, leave and work rules into one planning process. It generates a draft, shows how assignments compare with targets, and lets your roster team make changes before publication.
Published shifts are available to staff through their personal calendar. Teams can also manage requests, track leave and review proposed shift changes.
Rules and preferences
Departments work differently. You can choose from a searchable rule library, save rules for your hospital and set requirements for particular people, roles or shifts.
Hard rules must pass before a generated result is saved. Softer preferences are prioritised, so you can distinguish what is required from what you would like to achieve.
People approve the result
The solver uses mathematical optimisation. Generated rosters receive an independent rule check, but your team still reviews staffing, fairness and suitability before publishing. Agreement-based presets help with setup; they do not replace checking your current employment agreement.
Start with a pilot
RosterSolver is currently offered as a supported pilot. We work through your department’s requirements, configure your first group and help you review the results. There is no automatic charge when you book a demo.
